PollyTalk is an AI-powered language-learning application designed to help you practice speaking, listening, and communication skills through conversations with artificial intelligence. This Privacy Policy for Jorion Inc ("we", "us") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you engage with our services (the "Services") in relation to the PollyTalk application and website. Effective June 1, 2026. By using PollyTalk, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide. We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including: • Name or nickname • Email address • Account login credentials • Profile information • Language preferences • Customer support communications • Feedback and survey responses 1.2 Conversation and learning content. To provide AI-powered language-learning services, we may collect and process: • Text conversations with AI tutors • Voice recordings submitted by you • Speech-to-text transcripts • Learning progress records • Vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation performance data • User-created learning content These materials are used solely for providing, improving, and personalizing the learning experience. 1.3 Automatically collected information. When you use the Services, we may automatically collect your device model, operating system version, device identifiers, IP address, language settings, app version, crash reports, diagnostic information, and usage analytics and interaction events. This information helps us maintain security, improve performance, and understand how users interact with the Services. 1.4 Subscription and purchase information. If you purchase a subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play, payment transactions are processed directly by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store your full payment card information. We may receive limited transaction information such as subscription status, purchase confirmation, product type, and renewal information. This is used solely to manage your subscription and provide paid features.
2. How we use your information

PollyTalk uses artificial intelligence technologies to provide conversational language-learning experiences. When you interact with AI features, your text inputs, voice recordings, and related content may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf, solely for the purpose of: • Generating AI responses • Evaluating language proficiency • Providing pronunciation feedback • Improving response quality and service reliability • Following up on requests and complaints • Conducting finance and accounting transactions • Supporting language-learning functionality We require our service providers to handle user information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements. We do not sell your conversations, voice recordings, or learning content to third parties. Where permitted by applicable law and service configuration, we seek to limit the use of user content for third-party model-training purposes. AI-generated responses are produced automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or inappropriate content. You should independently evaluate AI-generated information and should not rely on it as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice. PollyTalk provides AI-generated content solely for educational and language-learning purposes.
4. Third-party services
To operate and improve the Services, we may use trusted third-party providers that perform services on our behalf. Depending on the features you use, these providers may include cloud hosting and infrastructure, analytics, authentication, customer support, speech recognition, artificial intelligence, subscription and payment management, and error monitoring and crash reporting. These providers may receive information necessary to perform their services but are not permitted to use it for unrelated purposes. Third-party AI providers may process user inputs and generated outputs solely for the purpose of providing the AI functionality requested by users. The specific providers used may change from time to time as our Services evolve. We seek to configure such services in a manner that limits the use of customer content for model training where such options are made available by the provider.
5. Analytics and advertising
We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Services, including feature usage, session duration, device information, performance metrics, and crash diagnostics. This helps us improve functionality, reliability, and user experience. PollyTalk does not use your AI conversations or voice recordings for personalized advertising. If advertising features are introduced in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and comply with applicable platform requirements. Where required by law, we will obtain appropriate consent before collecting or processing information for advertising or analytics purposes.
6. Tracking technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, local storage technologies, and similar tools to authenticate users, maintain account sessions, remember preferences, measure application performance, improve security, and analyze usage patterns. On iOS devices, we comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) requirements. Where tracking authorization is required, you will be presented with Apple's permission request before any tracking activity occurs. We do not track users across third-party apps or websites without obtaining any permissions required by applicable law and platform policies.
7. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances: 7.1 Service providers. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including cloud hosting and storage, artificial intelligence services, analytics and diagnostics, authentication and account management, customer support, and subscription and payment management. We will take reasonable steps to ensure continued protection of your information and will provide notice where required by applicable law. 7.4 California residents. If you are a California resident, you are entitled to certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share; request access, deletion, or correction; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide and maintain the Services, unless required by law. 12. Account deletion and data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by using any in-app account-deletion feature, if available, or by contacting us through the support channels below. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your personal information, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information. Some limited information may be retained for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, financial and tax-record requirements, and resolution of disputes. After deletion, certain information may remain in backup systems for a limited period before being permanently removed. Following completion of a valid deletion request, deleted content will no longer be used by PollyTalk for personalization purposes, except where retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or compliance.
13. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law in the user's jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate legal authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable law, please contact us immediately and we will take reasonable steps to investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information. If the Services are offered to minors in certain jurisdictions, additional protections and parental-consent requirements may apply as required by law.

PollyTalk does not sell personal information as defined under applicable California privacy laws, and does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without any consent required by applicable law.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, new features or technologies, legal or regulatory requirements, or security and operational improvements. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Services, by email, or through other appropriate communication methods. The updated version will become effective upon posting, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
