Community Guidelines

Last updated: 2026-06-01

PollyTalk is a community focused on language learning. These guidelines exist so the Service stays useful, safe, and welcoming for everyone — including learners who are young, vulnerable, or practising English as an additional language.

1. Learn first, respect second, everything else after

Use the tutor, role-plays, articles, and library to practise languages. Treat the tutor and — where applicable — fellow users with the same respect you would show a human teacher and classmate.

2. Content that is not allowed

Do not use PollyTalk to create, request, or share: • Hate, harassment, or threats directed at any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics. • Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, or content that sexualises real people without consent. • Instructions for illegal activity, self-harm, weapons of mass harm, bio/chem synthesis, or attacks on critical infrastructure. • Malware, phishing, credential theft, or anything intended to compromise other people's systems or accounts. • Personal data of others that you do not have permission to share. • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights. Trying to extract, bypass, or jailbreak the AI into producing the above is itself a violation.

3. Acceptable use

Do not: • Scrape, mirror, or republish AI outputs at scale, or use the Service to build a competing product. • Automate conversation turns or run bots against the API. • Evade daily token limits, authentication, payment, or other enforcement. • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or proprietary data. • Share an account in a way that exceeds personal use. Fair personal use — including multi-device sync for a single learner — is fine.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write, record, or save. You grant Jorion Inc only the licence needed to operate and improve the Service (see Terms §7). Make sure you have the right to share anything you paste in — especially articles and translations from third-party sources — and don't include other people's personal data without their permission.

5. Respectful interaction

When asking the tutor to role-play, use scenarios that would be appropriate in a language classroom. Avoid scenarios designed to embarrass, humiliate, or harass specific real people.

6. Reporting violations

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines — from the AI, from a shared resource, or from another user — email support@jovimastery.com with the details and any screenshots. We investigate reports within 5 business days.

7. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may: remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend your account, or terminate the account. Serious or repeated violations can lead to a permanent ban. Where legally required we may also report to the relevant authorities. We apply these rules using reasonable judgement. Jorion Inc (jovim) retains the final right of interpretation for this document.

8. Appeals

If you believe your account was actioned in error, reply to the enforcement email or write to support@jovimastery.com within 30 days. We review appeals in good faith.

9. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the product and community evolve. Material changes will be posted here and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
